Page Partner Spotlight: Minnesota Africans United

This week’s Page Partner Spotlight is Minnesota Africans United (MAU).

MAU serves as the coalition for African immigrants in Minnesota that is centered on closing the opportunity gaps in education, healthcare, the economy, and employment, with the mission of creating awareness and increasing access to resources for African communities.

“MAU supports the passage of the Page Amendment because it directly aligns with our organization’s mission. There is a strong presence of Africans in Minnesota, and when identifying barriers for their economic prosperity, it is clear that the adequate education system has impacted that progress significantly. The Page Amendment is one of the ways that the United States fosters economic abilities for all not only to those of class and the privilege but to all.”
