Page Amendment Week of Action Event Schedule Released
The campaign’s education and advocacy week starts March 22.
ST. PAUL, MINN. – The Page Amendment Week of Action is March 22 – 26, and the campaign is announcing the events for the week. Week of Action is the campaign’s official statewide education and advocacy week, meant for Minnesotans to learn more about the amendment through a series of educational events, and then connect with local lawmakers and share why they support quality public education for all Minnesotans.
All events are virtual and free to the public.
Monday, March 22
12-1 pm CST: Kick-off event with Page Partners including Justice Alan Page and Rep. Ron Kresha, featuring a board expansion announcement and the unveiling of amendment-themed spoken word poetry and art from local artists! Register here.
4-6 pm CST: Intergenerational panel discussion with Minnesota youth, including students from Bridgemakers, People for PSEO, and Young Women’s Initiative, and legislators. Register here.
Tuesday, March 23
6-7 pm CST: Community conversation with Justice Alan Page, Minneapolis Fed President Neel Kashkari, and school board members from Fridley, Roseville, Moundsview, and Mahtomedi. Register here.
Wednesday, March 24
6-7 pm CST: Information session with Justice Alan Page and Minneapolis Fed President Neel Kashkari hosted by the Park Rapids League of Women Voters. Register here.
Thursday, March 25
8 am – 4 pm CST: Community lobby day event for community members to encourage members of the House of Representatives to hold hearings on the amendment.
Friday, March 26
12-1 pm CST: The business case for quality public education panel featuring Representative Tony Albright, Brian Murray, CEO of Ryan Companies, Minneapolis Fed President Neel Kashkari, representatives from the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, and community business leaders. Register here.
